In both the studio and the kitchen, I continue to explore the concept and materiality of tears, subsequently, working with onions in a handmade paper process called vegetable papyrus.
Actual onions and the imprints left on paper after cooking and pressing between parchment sheets, are collaged into Ways of Being with acrylic paint, graphite and collage to create a beautiful and subtle expression of our liminal state of humanity.
